I was recently shopping for cars and test drove all cars above - and frequented their respective online web boards to test the waters, so to speak. My first reaction to the Passat was great. There are alot of enthusiasts doing things to their cars to improve them. VWVortex is an awesome car enthusiast community, and simply on the strength of those bulletin boards I was extremely impressed. They all loved their cars - and rightfully so, the Passat is a good car. Then I test drove an Audi. The difference in fit and finish, interior styling, build quality, and performance from a Passat to an A4 is nearly staggering. The A4 is a fine automobile, and AudiWorld (http://www.audiworld.com) also has many fine individuals doing things to improve their cars.
Then, I test drove a Saab 9-3.
Which one do you think I bought?
:)
