Hi,

We've been dancing arounding this issue for quite a while now, and
unfortunately much of the discussion has been needlessly acrimonious.

So, let's have a friendly (not to say dispassionate) discussion about
what would be a perfect Saab. I don't necessarily want you to tell me
a Saab of the past, present or one of the Saab concept cars.

If you could select from a parts bin of car parts that have ever been,
could be or never was and build a car which is the very embodiment of
what is Saab, what would you put in it?

Judging from the discussion, I can guess that many will want a
hatchback. FWD will be a priority for a lot of us. Powerful small
displacement engine will most likely be mentioned more than once.

So, what is your ideal Saab which does not suffer from mundane
trivialities such as market pressures and need to sell cars at a profit?
What is the Saab which you will gladly empty your savings for?

For me, I would like something similar to my 9-5 because I do love it
so. However, I would like it to have a little edgier styling than my
9-5. SVC engine would be a worthy replacement for the 2.3t engine.
So, that's my vote. My 9-5 with new edgier sheet-metal with SVC engine.

Come on ... you've been raring to tell somebody ... anybody what you
want Saab to build. So, tell this BB. Chances are zero that it will
get built, but that's really not the point is it? Empty your heart and
spill it onto the screen. :-)

thanks

Jae
