We've developed what has to be the most litiguous society on earth. Ultimately, what this jury is saying is that GM was more responsible for this guys' predicament than he was, even though his actions (falling) asleep was the direct cause of the problem. Maybe they should have awarded him money against himself. Maybe Insurance companies could offer policies covering people against their own stupidity, like the guy who cut his fingers off trying to trim a hedge with a lawnmower. Personally, I think the only way to trim a bush is....
