I don't know where you are seeing 3800 in that article, but your original post was for a 2004 Arc, which Saab indicates has a curb weight of 3620lbs. Regardless, you are welcome to believe a 2004 Arc wagon with an auto weighs 3800lbs, a Buick Encore weighs 3300lbs, and a Volvo has an iron block. Whatever gets you to sleep at night.
