Thanks for the input guys. I do get nice even yellow boost with the BPC selonoid disconnected. I plugged it back in this morning and the car is pretty driveable but if I am squirting out of toll boths or leaving someone at a stop light, I will hit the fuel cut-off.
I will buy a boost gauge from Maptun. Verify base boost with hard numbers. Then I will also check the site you referred me to. If the cost is close to an exchange with a tuner, I may just exchange mine with a new stage 4 ECU massaged by a tuner.
I was also thinking of using a boost pressure bleed off inline under the MAP sensor.
Thanks for all the feedback, I was surprised at how active this board is.
