We just disassembled the stock motor out fo my 99 viggen which had been in the car for 5yrs/47k miles. There was no sign of any sludge or other contamination, the wear was minimal.Another 100k should have been no trick.I have always done the following:syn oil 15/50wt change 5k miles, injector cleaner regularly, have had good software and hard parts that will handle power, clean air and good gas.I was particularly interested in seeing what the pistons looked like as my car has seen a lot of hard use, track, dyno ect.The wear here was normal also.Thw doner viggen motor was in a bit worse shape at 30k miles, burned piston and some sludge.I have always wraped the cat as it is directly under the oil pan ,I don't know if this helps but it is a lot cooler there now-ed
