So far I have had zero issues with heat & my paint cap which is stuck on the distributor. I purchased a turbo wrap from summit & I think that helps as well.
The concern was (if I recall) not the oil going into the turbo but the oil leaving the turbo. The turbo's fitting was below the OEM return location thus we were worried that it would not flow properly. Thus, the turbo was swapped which shortend the IC pipeing & the turbo oil return line goes to the oil drain plug :) Now I do not even need a wrench to change oil, I just disconnect the fitting :)
3300 RPM's I am at 10 PSI
3500 rpm's 18 psi
3700-7300 rpm's about 22 PSI
torque
3700-5200rpm's 270-285 wtq
6000 rpm's 230 wtq
7000 rpm's 180 wtq
HP
3800 rpm's 210 whp
4500 rpm's 225 whp
5000-6500 rpm's 265-275 whp
7000 rpm's 240 whp
I agree.... going with aftermarket cams can hurt my low end power. I used cams from JKracing.NU & they were horrible. He's the guy that built my header thus I trusted his opinion. Below 5500 RPM's there was no power even though I would hit my full boost below 4K. The car would actually bog on me with 22 PSI coming out of turns at the track. Then I went with Lesco's cams which were a LOT better however off boost response was still horrible. There was simply no power & it felt like crap. The present setup I beleive is a 85 exh cam which transformed the car off boost, feels like my viggen does when it's off boost however it doesn't have the top end power that I wanted.
