I've read on this BB, of a few people who say that they made all of the modifications at the same time, so they have nothing to compare to...
putting on a 2.1 or a 2.3 head, using the 2.0 or 2.1 NA cam, and the 85t exhaust cam...
I guess I'll get all these cams myself and go get some dyno numbers, just because I'm bored, and it annoys me that there may be no actual science behind people's recommendations at using an NA intake cam... over an 86-early89 turbo intake cam...
this may be one of those situations where some rumor became common knowledge i suppose.
but if anyone can tell me WHY an NA intake cam is better for making more power i'd still like to hear it, unless of course it's just to get more torque with a stock turbo...
not trying to be rude or condescending or anything negative, just trying to get to the bottom of things
