Do you own calculations, read about this on your own... check the link at the bottom of this post. do your own research and see how many different intake cam specifications are listed for the 85t exhaust cam itself, most commonly

51* open 10* close, WHICH IS NOT what the factory manual simon posted showed:

51* open 16* close should be the correct timings for 85t exh cam...

anyways...

86- early 89 Turbo intake cam / WITH 85 turbo exhaust cam

Intake Duration of 252.00 degrees.
The Exhaust Duration is 252.00 degrees.
Overlap of 32.00 degrees
The Inlet Cam has an Installed Centerline of 110.00 degrees ATDC.
The exhaust cam has an Installed Centerline of 110.00 degrees BTDC.

110+110/2 = A lobe separation of 110 Degrees

Intake Duration of 252.00 degrees.
The Exhaust Duration is 254.00 degrees.
Overlap of 29.00 degrees
The Inlet Cam has an Installed Centerline of 110.00 degrees ATDC.
The exhaust cam has an Installed Centerline of 114.00 degrees BTDC.

110+114/2 = A lobe separation of 112 Degrees

NA intake from all 2.0i, 2.1i, and 89+up 2.0TURBO / WITH 86+ turbo exh cam

Intake Duration of 240.00 degrees.
The Exhaust Duration is 254.00 degrees.
Overlap of 29.00 degrees
The Inlet Cam has an Installed Centerline of 104.00 degrees ATDC.
The exhaust cam has an Installed Centerline of 114.00 degrees BTDC.


104+114/2 = A Lobe separation of 109 degrees

104+110/2 = A Lobe separation of 107 Degrees
