You can't just DECIDE to compare things based on an arbitrary, irrelevant test which does not reflect how the part is loaded in service.
For anyone confused by how ludicrous these assertions are,
Example: "I put Brand X hiking boots in my camp fire, then my Brand Y hiking boots in. Brand X were consumed in flame first, therefore Brand Y is better."
"I poured this Brita pitcher full of eggnog on the keyboard of my Mac, and on the keyboard my HP. The Mac tripped the surge protector it was plugged into. The HP shorted internally in a big show of fire and fury and brimstone (piston fracturing). The Mac is better."
The failure mode of pistons in service is not catastrophic overload - it's fatigue fracture or heat damage.
Your example demonstrates nothing other than your insatiable desire to get your backwoods oppinions out there to make yourself feel good.
No one listens to you anymore - why not go somewhere that they will listen? Maybe DSMForums?
