Hey Jeff, I keep forgetting to share my experiences with you on one of your old posts ("This thing is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!") about my modified ignition devices. I've found the same thing when just cruising along in 5th gear at 70 to 75mph, just takes a little throttle! The very reason I get very close to 40 MPG with my '88 9000 Carlsson in ideal conditions and I don't mean a tail wind. BTW I do still make these however I use a good used one from a 9000T where they're not right above the turbo so the diaphragms aren't cooked as new ones are real expensive now days. The down side is that I make the aluminum pieces manually as there's not enough demand for them to done in volumes with CNC machines like we use to. Anyway drive-ability and mileage is incredible with the latest versions! Unfortunately most people just bend the stop which only helps the lessor of the 2 problems the stock unit has which actually makes their biggest (retarding too quickly) problem even worse! Dave
