The only differance is that the viggen springs are set up with the front slightly lower then the back to give the car a more aggressive look. Please don't be a snob, the viggen is just a 9-3 with a 2.3L engine instead of a 2.0L and a body kit. They share the same engine management system, and that is the ecu, which we were orginally talking about. The viggen body panels, glass, exhaust, spring, shocks, rear sway bar, ect, ect, ect is the same as on the ng900(only exception is the truck lid and crossflowed intercooler). The suspension has not been upgraded since 1995, the only upgrade to the suspension on a 9-3/Viggen came in 2002 when they increased the spring rating. In 97 Saab increase the brake size and in 99 the increased them again but only on the viggen. In fact the Saab "Viggen" Race car in 2001 dropped the 2.3l engine for the 2.0l engine due to its wieght reduction advantages so one could say that one of the most powerful viggens is 2.0L.....
