I know this isn't exactly performance related but I know many of the common posters here have done this modification.

I tried to get to Vince T's page but I couldn't.
Anyway does anyone have a website with this little project. When it's said and done I hope to have a step by step page with various pics. (assuming I can find free space in my server)
I'm getting spray cans of primer and *matching* paint from the same source. (Auto repair shop supplier/wholesaler) I have yet to get the mesh. Trying to find some that ISN'T bright colors.

I understand I should sand and prime the grill before painting it. What grain of paper should I use and how much should I sand off? Someone suggested I simply "scuff it good." How should I attach the mesh? I was thinking zipties in the holes from removing the black "fins"
I am also trying to decide about the small turbo badge in the grill, maybe I'll leave it off.
