Your right what lag was I talking about....
Let see if you take a MHI TD04HL-15T or slightly bigger with turbine housing 6cm2 or 7 cm2, the bigger the turbine the more lag you get. Most people get the MHI TD04HL-15T-6cm2 from the old 9000 aero turbo and add it to there ng900. This is a very popular upgrade for ng900 and 9-3 owners. When people do this the biggest complaint is the differance in turbo lag compared to there old t25. A way to reduce this lag and to have a faster spool is either buy a 25/28 or a gt25 turbo which cost around $1k. Your right the TD04HL-15T-6cm2 might be the most cost effective upgrade compared to getting a 25/28 though but it will also have more lag.
