Either way,IMHO, the factory TDO4 is far more efficient than a hybrid T-25 unless it has ball-bearings. Just think of the gears on a 10 speed bike if you will; Small crank gear to small drive gear = easy to pedal up hill, however, you pedal a lot more. Now then, small crank gear to big drive gear = more power and torque, but at the cost of A LOT more initial energy to start up that hill. That would be the lag.
I know this is a crude analogy, but I'm sure you get my point. It's a simple formula. I have driven a 9000 with the T-25/28 and found it to be pretty civil with a lot more top end than bottom. I have also driven many late model 9-5 Aero's and we both know that there really isn't any lag to speak of. The easiest way for him to go is factory TDO4-5cm2 with the factory manifold. I'm not sure of this, but I don't think that the 9-5 manifold is comptible with the T-25 port. Something about round and square comes to mind. I'm pretty sure that's why Abbott sells the 6cm2 kit with an adapter.
