2.0L. Oil pump perfect, new pickup tube oring. Mobil 15W 50, Pure One filtre
at 180F oil temp
12psi idle, 40ish psi at 2000RPM, 50psi at 3000RPM+.
I was in a jam last oil change and had to go with the new X2 Fram high flow filtre, and my oil pressure is acually less than above.
at 180F----10-12psi idle, 32psi at 2000RPM, 44psi at 3000
does this look normal? I've done some research and others have had similar pressures.
60-70psi seems quite high,,,,the closest I've got to that in my car since 80K km (when I bought it), was about 62psi with a 5W40 synthetic and sightly below zero ambient temperature at 2000RPM and 'cold' oil.
the temperatures I've mentioned at 180F oil tem was with an automoeter cobalt electric gauge....there is not way in telling exactly how accurate it is;-))
