but the fan motor decided to crap out about a day after the swap. So out came the fan.
Regarding your other post.....those bastards broke in through the rear hatch window. What was once a prestine garage kept/non sun dried example of a 889KT, soon becvause quite a mess. Everything is up to snuff now, but they did a lot of damage, such as breaking hte DS sun visor tearing some of the leather on the back of the seats (can't really see it). They appaerently spend a lot of time sitting in the front as the glass dust which was all over the car from an exploding window) did sime minor surface damage to the driver seat.
As I said everything is back to normal, and I added a DCC trip computer today, which is really trick....makes it look more modern;-)
I still love my daily driver, and I think after the turbo install I'll leave well alone and just do little maintenance bits like rotors, and suspension bushings. I have the car running so smoothly right now (kinda odd for an 'arcaheic LH system eh?;-), that i find it simply a joy to drive. No torque spikes, smooth hard acceleration to redline,,,,I love it! All this with some would say are 'bandade solutions'. Well if you work at those bandaids and add a little bit of new technology, these cars are simply fabulous drivers.
NOt sure if I'm getting any real benefit to the water injection in the winter up here, but it's nice to know that it's there. I have the trigger set to around 10 psi now because of the cold weather...in the summer I usually drop the trigger so the WI goes on around 5psi...nice compliment to advanced timing (around 20BTDC)
chow,
Steve
Ps I have pics of the old bone shaker I can email you....can't be bothered with the upkeep of a website;-)
