Only one problem here, your barking at SAAB when GM should be your bone. THEY SUCK, we would have been so much better off if FORD would have bought us. Their customer service went out the door in 98 or earlier and now with the move to Detroit, well, the defense rests. At this point of the game in an out of warranty status they will go almost entirely on the dealers reccomendation, but honestly alot depends on who answered the phone that day at SAAB. If you can imagine since the takeover virtually every person is/has a counterpart at GM and they can be replaced easily, and they know that,so any money saved or not making waves helps. I have a friend that a month ago told me he was good, now 2 weeks later he gets new news. I really hate the corporate climate somedays.
