Yes, you are pushing a SMBC into the realm of MBC operation. So don't complaint about the intent of a normal SMBC setup.
Yes, the T7 will accept some pushing of the boost levels and yes, traction becomes a problem. And with increased torque, traction control systems can start getting into the game as well.
Just for the record for the benefit of other readers, a SMBC is a MBC with the bleed port blocked off, (or never drilled to start with) that is connected in series with the BPC. It goes in-line with BPC, in the hose that goes from the turbo compressor hose bar to the BPC inlet.
You can't use a dual stage MBC as I do not think that you will find that these have dual ball spring mechanisms, but have variable selectable bleed ports. You could setup two SMBCs with a solenoid valve to control the air flow. If you do use a dual stage MBC, you probably will not be able to setup in a SMBC fashion.
The SMBC satifies the need for a improvement in responsiveness and a bit more torque in the lower gears while keeping thing very safe and keeping the ECU happy.. no CELs etc. You are clearly wanting more and experimenting. So that can be fun as well.
With the BSR stage I, you have more boost already. I assume that you have a low restriction engine air filter. A MBC or SMBC is senstive to intake restructions and the effect of a low restriction air filter will be very noticeable with a MBC/SMBC when a stock setup might mask the effect of the fitler change.
