I think Ray will agree that anytime the car is going to sit for 3-6 months you should top off the tank and add a bottle of stabilizer. If he doesn't, he should! For 6 months I'd advise changing the oil prior to putting it in storage as well. That's right, prior. New oil is not going to degrade sitting there and the acids in old oil may pit flat surfaces if allowed to sit there for a long period. Always surprised people wait until they put the car back on the road to change the oil, although not a bad idea to change it again somewhat soon. Prior to starting up the first time after a long idle period pull the plugs and add a little lubricant. May seem like overkill but V4 motors in decent shape to rebuild are about as rare as stylish mullets.
