Its best to change the line with a new one. If you are using it temporarily, I've ran a wire up the fuel line. The best wire I've used is Mig welding wire. Also, loop the end so its easier for the wire to turn corners. Once the line hits a clogged area, you can pull it out and measure approximately where its blocked. My tank was blocked at the first bend coming out of the gas tank. If you want to unclog the line, use the wire as a roto-rooter by attaching a drill and spining the wire slowly(expecially works well with the loop on the other end).
Also get the tank cleaned by removing it and either get a kit or call around to a few radiator places and they can clean it and if need be seal it. I wouldn't get it sealed unless it was needed. I have heard of the sealant coming off and clogging the line. A good radiator shop will boil your tank out for $100. An un sealed tank will be raw steal on the inside and will start forming rust so install it quickly and top of the tank with fresh gas.
