Sorry about the delay in responding but I don't usually get any days off the second half of every month end I wanted to tinker with it first to see just how far I could go with it. Today I spent a few hours and got it down to just under 3/4" above the outside weather strip at the center and within 1/8" of closeing all the way. I think I'm already past the point where the law of diminishing returns comes into play. It is much more comfortable now driving with the window down, which is most of the time here in Phoenix. Air conditioning by next summer. I did originally use both parts that attach the window from a Sonett III. Today however I fabricated a replacement bracket for the front one because I pretty well butchered up the original trying different modifications. Only took about an hour. The back one is just a channel with a roller and only need to adjust the hight of the attachment. I'll email some pictures.
