...but IMO if you want to do a good job you are going to have to pull the A-arms out and set the correct angle (-7 degrees, I think) between the arms and the brackets, then reinstall them.
I believe the reason the factory manual specifies a specific angle between the arms and the brackets is so that the bushings will wind up in a more or less neutral (strain-free) position once the car is back on its wheels. If you just let gravity force everything into position and then tighten up the nuts, there will be some residual torque on the bushings. I think that would shorten their life, and I'm sure you'll agree this is NOT a job you want to do any more often than you can help it!
