Yes, there is a TSB regarding the false indication to perform service. My '03 9-3 Arc only has 8200 miles on it but my days remaining went from 4 days down to 0 days a few months ago when my car was sitting in the garage for a few days while I was on vacation! My oil quality is still at 25% so I suppose I have a good amount of life in the oil. The oil level has remained constant and the Saab/Mobil 1 oil is meant for this type of use so I'm not worried about it.
