Trip was great, but no other 9-3SC's spotted.... I didn't record total miles traveled and total gallons consumed with each fuel purchase, instead just doing quick mental math at the pump after resetting the trip odometer. Overall I feel confident I achieved 28 to 30 mpg each time. Not scientific, but close. I also didn't bother to check mileage for the local travel within the Boston and Raleigh areas.
Highway speeds were predominately 70 to 75mph. A/C running the entire trip. Some mountaineous travel on I-86 thru Upstate NY, and on I-77 thru WV and the far western fringes of VA.
Didn't see another SportCombi on the entire trip other the the one black car near Fredericksburg VA. The additional power the 2.0T has over the 2.3 lpt in my 9-5 (210HP versus 170HP) was noticeable in the mountains. The 9-3SC is an even better car for this terrain. Guess I should buy an ECU upgrade for my 9-5!
2006 9-3SC 3,200 miles
2000 9-5 lpt Sedan 175,400 miles
