In our opinion, the RWD 3-series BMW out performs a SAAB 9-3 in every respect. It's hard to flaw the BMW given its ability to maintain its extradinary balance even when driven hard.

SAABs used to be a value and bargain. In our buying experience, the SAAB dealer we worked with priced SAABs way out of competitiveness when compared to other Euro brands, including BMW, Audi and MB. It was a no brainer for us to purchase a BMW cabrio over the 9-3 aero cab, when the BMW cost only $2,500 more the SAAB cabrio out-the-door, and despite our 20+ years of SAAB motoring and loyalty.
