This is the spec oil you should use. In the US, the only oils that meet the spec are Euro Castrol 0w-30 and Mobil 1 0w-40 (not 0w-30). Maybe Saab Turbo oil, if you can find it.
AMSOIL is good oil, however their advertising and the propaganda on their many websites should be avoided. Its horribly biased and their tests are fairly unscientific (no or very questionable controls).
The reason for the spec and the low base weight is to avoid sludging. Most, if not all, manufacturers have developed high spec requirements for oil in their turbo cars for this reason.
