What you have in stock will work just fine. The 4Ball Wear test gives an indication of of protection under extreme pressure, but there are many other standardized tests. The AMSOIL company website will sometimes give you the most recent technical data, and the most recent oil comparisons the company has published. Incidently, the tests AMSOIL publishes are all based on data provided by independent labs. On the site, you will find comparisons for a number of different 10W-30 oils, using some 8 different tests. While these are all for 10W-30, a logical assumption is that the other grades would perform in essentially the same manner.
If you are really concerned, take an oil sample when you think it is about time for a change, and let a lab tell you if there is any abnormal wear, and if your oil is good or needs to be changed.
