I looked at a Ward's Auto World last week that had the annual "10 Best Engines" article. The turbo V6 from the Saab 9-3 was not included in the 10 Best, but was an honorable mention. Ward's justification for not including the engine in the top category was something akin to "it just feels as if someone has de-tuned it"

Obviously Ward's felt this engine begs to go faster also.
