The value of navigation varies widely, both in the market and as a matter of importance to the customer. Some folks need it, some folks hardly need maps at all, much less ask for directions. You could always buy a portable unit for $500ish and carry it with you in all your vehicles. At trade in time nave will be a $300-400 book add, not much considering the $1,995 price tag.
One of the big advantages to the 2007 is the availible Bose sound system and the Black Tie radio. The audio in an 06 sedan ain't so hot even with the 300w 13 speaker audio option of the premium package. Haven't listened hard yet but I bet the standard 2007 audio is better than the premium package '06 or very close.
You didn't mention the most delightful feature of a Saab, heated seats. Are you getting those? The wood trim of the 06 premium package is very, very nice, but I rather like the new dash of the 07.
In short your far ahead with the current model year for comparable money as the nav and premium package is far outweighed at resale by the model year.
Also the 07 will be availible on a lease, a very practical way to prevent your hard earned dough from depreciating with the car.
