Hi,

This will be my first SAAB. I have been won over by a good friend of mine who is a die hard SAAB enthusiast, and by the attractive pricing (plus nice vacation opportunity) of the Euro delivery program.

Has anyone on this site purchased a SAAB that way? I am very interested to hear about your experience and if the price turned out to be as favorable as advertised. What are, if any, the catches or hidden costs (minus the trip over and stay)?

I used the website to build the car I had in mind; a 9-3 60th anniversary addition with moon roof and automatic transmission. The MSRP is around 31k. Any ideas on what this should work out to going the pick up in Sweden route.

I have contacted the local SAAB dealer and they are clueless as to Euro delivery and pricing. SAAB is one of many other makes they carry and I can tell through a couple of conversations that it is probably not their main focus.
