Find someone familiar with the program. There are additional forms which MUST be completed by the selling Dealership for you to take delivery of the car in Europe.

Request the European Delivery packet from the SaabUSA website as it is very informative. I believe the website also has European Delivery prices. Prices thru European Delivery are often less than Employee Discount! And you get a free, but very short, European vacation as well!

My wife and I strongly considered buying a 9-3SC in this manner in late 2005 but bought locally instead after US incentives increased in the spring of 2006.

As I remember; you will have to pay in full for your car atleast 30 days before you accept delivery in Europe. Your car will trail your return to the US by 6 to 8 weeks

Example:
Pay in full for car on May 1st. Take possession of car in Europe on June 1st (or later). Drop off car for shipment to US on June 15th (after extending your trip by two weeks for the purpose of an European vacation) and fly home. Take possession of your car a second time, at your local Dealership, sometime after August 1st.
