I posted a followup tm this message yesterday but it didn't post so I'll try again.
Brake performance is one of Saab's strong suits especially on the Aero models. BUT! One of the weakneses with them is "They don't like to sit" bothof you purchased cars with very low mileage and obviously somewhere along the line they have sat for quite some time. When they do so the rotors tend to rust due to the high content of cast iron in them eventually the rust will spread to the calipers causing them to stick and burn up the pads. Unless you can get some assistance from the selling dealer, you really have not much choice but to do a proper replacement of the pads and rotor's but do it right, it's not all that expensive. You don't need to use OEM components but buy quality parts. Make sure the front calipers are taken apart, thoroughly cleaned and that all sliding components are coated with "Never Seize" compound. The same with the pad sliding surfaces of the rear calipers. When done, give them a break in session by making several light 50 MPH to 10 MPH stops then 10 minutes cool down driving. Repeat this procedure only a little bit harder this time. Again repeat but this time get right on them hard (make the ABS work)and alow a longer cool down. You should now have "Like New Performance"
