I recently thought my pump motor was broken. I took it out and cleaned it and tested it with a 12V power supply capable of putting out 3+ Amps. I put everything together, added fluid and pulled the stock. It worked. But that was the only time. I got a new pump and still no luck. I checked the wires that go to the pump with a volt meter and there is no voltage there. Also, pulling the stock now does not even make the wipers go either. All along, I've had the problem where the wipers don't park correctly and the speed selector dial on the stock has no effect.
There is another guy who had this behavior and the mechanic fixed the grounding and that solved the problem.
Anyways, the pump is in front of the left front wheel. I got at mine by taking out a single screw in the wheel well plastic cover thing.
A new pump is ~$30.
One more clue. When a motor isn't spinning, it can act as a short circuit and blow your fuses.
Good Luck
