Had the same thing happen to me about a month ago when it got cold here. Brought the car in and the dealer replaced the ESP ECM (under warranty). Last weekend I went up to northern WI and the temp dropped to -20F. Car threw up the warning again. Turned it off and back on and no further warnings. Everything certainly seemed to be performing properly, so I figured it was just the cold. I'll bring it in next week and see what the dealer has to say.
