The issues are all Aero Specific
1) fuel economy of the V-6 Turbo. At least with the manual trans, you can help this a lot by driving conservatively - but with the performance and melodious exhaust, that could be quite a challenge ;-)
2) the sports suspension is a little hard for the convertible body - but coming from an OG 9-3CV, that's not likely to be an issue for you. Also, beginning in 2006, I think, they switched to a larger, softer all season tire on the Aero, which also eases the ride.
3) The only real issue is there's been some cases of the cooling overflow not being able to hold together - I don't recall if it's the overflow bottle or the hose leading to it. Parts were on back order at one time - you might want to double check with a Saab dealer on the status of that particular car and the problem in general.
Good luck with the price. You might walk in and be "surprised" that it has black side molding and the front looks "old and boring - don't they look more like jets?" 2006 and 2007 were GM's experiment with "true value pricing" on Saabs - that is, the cars were stickered at close to the typical selling prices. That didn't really work out, and in 2008 they went back to their usual pricing strategy. So that car had a sticker in the low-to-mid $40K, while from 2008 on the same car listed for close to $50K.
