I don't know about problems which may be specific to Aero's, but we have an '07 2.0T vert with 16,000 miles and have had zero problems with the exception of some rattles and squeaking plastic mostly in the console area which I think are endemic to new generation 9-3's (cheap GM plastic). We just bought our car (automatic and premium package) at the end of the lease for $22,500 with CPO. The Aero you are looking at doesn't look like it has any options and obviously isn't CPO, but I don't how Aero prices stack up against 2.0T prices. I would check out some Saab dealers' listings for CPO '07 Aero's and see how they compare. Keep in mind there's a lot of room to negotiate with Saab dealers these days, especially on used cars. They haven't had much new product to sell this year, they haven't been able to lease and they're very hungry. The actual buyback price in our lease was $32,800, and the dealer was able to buy our car from GMAC, certify it and sell it to us for $22,500 and still make a few bucks.
