Just got my 06 9-3 2.0T back from 60 K service at the dealer I purchased the car from. I was concerned it may run a lot of money i.e. a grand or so and considered going indie, but was pleasantly surprised. The 60K service was $259 parts and $414 labor, total of $673. They replaced front springs under current recall no charge but unfortunately gigged me another $440 to replace a failing ignition module and switch that, had intermittent Sid warnings even though the steering lock worked fine. So I am good for another year of fun driving til the next Saab check up occurs and I part with another grand.
Oh yes, I also need to plan for a new set of sneakers for the car and rear brakes & rotors in the next 5K-8K miles. Guess I'll have to save my lunch money and find a good indy to install My tire rack purchase, good rotors and brake pads that don't have GM part numbers.
