The TX 345mm front brakes are specific to only a few '08-11 9-3 and 9-3X models with that brake package. Always be very cautious when buying parts from generic retail outlets such as AutoZone and Advance Auto. I commonly see 2003 9-3SSs with convertible brake rotors and pads installed. They sort of fit, but they really are dangerous in operation. For 2008 9-3 models, there are four front brake packages offered (285mm, 302mm, 314mm, and 345mm). I see AZ has a different pad offering for the R (TX) and U VINs, so perhaps you did get the right pad but they are lower quality than the OEM Saab pad (Textar). Did you use OEM rotors or aftermarket?
