No, that's not where you Add modules electronically to the car.
It is done under All/Add-Remove/UEC (or whatever module you are planning to Add) and that's where you need the security access if you are trying to change some of the firm settings of a module like turning off DRL and such.
It's still only a guess and I don't have every setting memorized in my head but go along when I have the Tech 2 and screen open in front of me.
It might be one of the questions inside UEC where it asks about if the car has power seats or not.
Many options are highlighted already when you work through the screen and you only lick Ok as you go but some option are not and you have to manually choose the right option.
For instance, if the driver seat has memory, the power seat is highlighted due to the seat module talking to the rest of the car and alerting Tech2 about its existence.
The passenger seat is usually not memory and therefore it does not have a seat module and therefore its choice is not highlighted on the screen and if you just click away in frenzy you might miss that and suddenly you have turned off the seat.
When you Add a CIM for instance, if you haven't yet hooked up the air bag and wiper/washer and turn signal stalks, the Tech 2 highlights the option of no cruise control and no steering wheel buttons so if you just click away in haste, you won't have cruise and steering wheel button function afterwards.
