understanding that the CIM will only program up to 5 spare keys. I have been unable to find a way to use TECH II to tell how many open key code spots are left in the CIM.
This is because I recently tried programming a spare key for a 2004 9-3SS and it would not allow the NEW key to be added. I could only assume to tell them that all of the spare key code spots are full and that the CIM now requires replacement if any new keys are to be added.
So my question: Is there a way to check the number of key codes available to a CIM?
