If you are filling the tank until the fuel gauge reads "FULL" that could be your problem. What Larry says is true and since the fuel gauge is not calibrated per say but a relative reading - his theory gets my vote.
On my 2006 SC the fuel tank readings were slow to register and the pump et al were replaced under warranty. It did make it better but some times the gauge does not go to "FULL" until I have driven the car a few miles. It just creeps up to "FULL" slowly. By the way Larry is one of the best informed and respected Saab owners in North America. I would value his input!!!
