Replacing 2008 rear window trim - need advice

I plan on replacing the rubber window trim that goes 3/4 of the way around the rear window on my 2008 9-3SS. It has become old, faded and brittle with age and sun. Any tips on removing/installing the new trim piece? I would like to remove the old trim as clean and complete as possible, and install the new trim without damaging as it's very thin. Thanks!
