Having an issue with a brand new SAAB branded wiper which was missing a key mounting component. Piece is not in the wiper and was not in the plastic sleeve containing the wiper. (What! No box?) E-tailer wants me to send them a photo of the missing piece to substantiate my warranty claim.

I assumed that the factory wipers may be made by Valeo. Went to Valeo's on-line parts catalog and found the wiper numbers for a 2006 SAAB 9-3, (Valeo's 800 Series wiper line does show the driver's wiper with a wing, passenger side with no wing). I then searched for a Valeo 800221 wiper blade on-line, the passenger side blade, and found numerous sources. All these sources say this blade will NOT fit our car.

Has anyone purchased a Valeo blade using their catalog numbers? Did it fit? I hate to spend another $15 for a second new blade that won't fit our car.
