Hello,
The cable is two pieces and it has probably came apart. With a long screwdriver you can go through the grill and release the latches. If you look through there you can slightly see were the cable goes through the drivers side latch and proceeds over to the passenger side latch. Usually if you can push on the release on the drivers side it will release the drivers side also. After you figure it out its pretty easy. Good Luck, Bernie
