Follow up: The PRNDL indicator is not a serviceable unit. If the lights no longer illuminate, you need a whole new or used assembly. That's what I did. Used assembly, $25.00. Utube video on shift knob removal, standard fare after that. The passenger seat issue was that someone had inserted a pen with surgical precision, down inside the rail/slider/track assembly. I had a pair of "ant eater needle nosed pliers" and reached in about four inches and grabbed it. Problem solved. Had a seat track position sensor that had gone missing on the inboard driver's seat rail that was throwing an airbag code. New one installed. Codes cleared. Thought I was ready for my maiden voyage when I noticed the radiator had sprung a leak. It cracked where the upper fitting is for the transmission line into the tank. Perhaps the nut holding the cooler into the radiator tank was too tight, or just over time the vibration of a steel line dangling from a plastic radiator tank did it in. New radiator will be here Monday. Car is apart and waiting for it. That's all I have to report for the time being. Looking forward to driving this. To anybody that's read this far, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, how reliable would you rate the 9-3 with the 2.0 in it? Trustworthy car? At what mileage point do they die as a whole car, based on a well taken care of example? Curious. Thanks! Bob
