2010 9-3 XWD Auto, 92 miles
My 9-3 is stalling at idle when I come to a stop light/sign and won't immediately restart. If I give it 60-90 seconds it fires back up and drives fine until I come to another stop (or two). If the car is warming up after a cold start it doesn't have any issues; starts right up every time. During the no-start it cranks fine, just won't catch.
Had a local non-Saab mechanic look at it and they didn't have a conclusive answer, no OBDII codes and no stalling. They did check the fuel pressure and measured 35 psi at idle, and did notice a dip to 25 psi where the engine stumbled but didn't stall.
Based on this thread discussion (link below) between Chadwick, John Myers and Sweedcar I figured it might be the CPS and had it changed. No change on the symptoms. Still stalls when it's warm in drive when I approach or come to a stop. Idling in park seems to not be an issue.
Not sure if I have a bad ECU, fuel pump or something else. Just wanted to check with the community to see if they had some suggestions before I have the Saab towed to a Saab shop. The indie I've used since 2006 doesn't seem to be open any longer, website is down, not listed on the Orio USA site. Lost faith in them last year when their staff changed over as they we not able to solve a problem in 3 visit and supplied me aftermarket coil packs. There's other Saab shops in the area, just not easy to get to.
