Parts don't seem to be a problem...I lurk here and had accumulated a "boat load of parts" over the past 4 years or so based on others problems. (see my other posts for more details). The only part I can see so far that is an issue is the Ignition switch module (ISM). They are only available now as rebuild kits. Swedecar noted that he hadn't had much success with them? (It's an important piece to replace as it can cause all sorts of issues). Other than that, I've found my 9-3 2L SC to be reliable. Oh and while I think of it, head valve wear necessitating a rebuild. Only applies to certain models 2007+ I think. Compression test might be worthwhile before buying.
