While researching that, I found some Youtubes. There was a guy who was replacing the headlight assembly and while he had that bit (bumper cover and housing) apart, incidentally was solving a leak in the reservoir which he diagnosed as an O-ring at the connection between his spout and reservoir. That's what got me trying to manipulate the spout. On a 2008 9-3 Turbo-X (Xenon bulbs, follows (or leads) as you corner) you just rotate the spout maybe 25 - 30 degrees counterclockwise. There's an upstanding cylindrical portion on the reservoir with a bump. The bump engages a slot in the spout. The spout has a larger cylindrical portion. Rotate and lift and mine came right off. Replace, rotate back, seems OK. I didn't see any O-Ring and I know the grille and bumper changed between (I think) 2007 and 2008. I downloaded the WIS when GM divested itself of Saab and used that to find the erroneous instructions on lightbulb replacement. If your leak is the reservoir, not the joint with the spout, sounds like it's pull the bumper cover and maybe the headlight assembly. If your spout can be manipulated, it's easy to check and if you're prepared to pull the bumper cover if it breaks, makes no difference?
