9-3 SportCombi vs. 9-5 Wagon? Posted by iveand [Email] (#3155) [Profile/Gallery] (more from iveand) on Sun, 24 May 2020 17:12:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Long time Saab owner that enjoys the diy tinkering and the satisfaction and quality. But I have exclusively owned C900 with one NG900. Current daily driver is a 1990 SPG with 248K on the clock.
Anyway, we are looking to upgrade our second car (currently a 1991 Volvo 240 wagon manual transmission). The Mrs prefers the idea of a 9-3 SC as they are a bit smaller. But I have worked on Saab B204T for some years so am a bit hesitant, especially with the concern on the "soft intake valve issues" on a good portion of 9-3s (esp 2007-2008 it seems?).
I also posted over on the 9-5 board, looking for a bit of perspective from both sides. It has been discussed in the past, but could you refresh the conversation on comparison / contrast between the 9-3 SC and 9-5 wagon? I would only consider 4-cyl manual transmission, btw.
Thanks much, keep on Saab'ing!
